MSA San Diego Chapter Traffic Control & Flagger Training: Ensure Safety and Efficiency
The Maintenance Superintendents Association (MSA) San Diego Chapter is proud to present the Traffic Control & Flagger Safety Training.
This essential training is scheduled for March 19, 2026, at the City of El Cajon, California. Aimed exclusively at City Agency Members, the training offers profound insights into effective traffic management around construction sites. Traffic control is paramount to ensuring the safety of both workers and the general public. Improper signage and inadequate warnings are significant contributors to accidents at road construction sites. Therefore, this training is vital for those involved in traffic flow and redirection.
The training is divided into two options:
8-hour Training Course: This comprehensive course covers essential topics such as equipment use, operating rules, and professional conduct. Participants will learn how to set up signs to convey clear messages, ensuring minimal confusion and disruption through work sites. Topics include channelizing devices, barricades, construction signs, flagger safety, personal protective equipment, and relevant regulations.
4-hour Refresher Course: This course is designed for individuals seeking a refresher on traffic control principles. It covers similar topics as the full course but in a condensed format, ensuring participants are up-to-date with the latest standards and safety practices.
Both courses include lunch, ensuring participants are well-fed and energized throughout their learning experience.
